if pple would stop replacing phones for heat/1mm button raised... then they would be less likely to get a refurb that ends up having worse or real problems.

and the heat issue is completely fixable just make some vent holes.. that's all they did for the tp2

i agree shaggy. but now half my screen is gone everytime i slide out the kb. isn't funny these things start acting up everytime a new phone is released lol! i, personally, will gladly take another tp1.(until they're gone!)

so all the sprint reps and the people here in this thread have all told you the same thing then its obviously you. you are the consumer, shut up and stop complaining. if you dont like it go to verizon where they will charge you an extra 20 a month. were all glad youre done with the thread so we dont have to hear your whining. shut up go get another carrier then everyone is happy, the techs dont have to see you and you can stop supporting someone pissing you off so much, everyone wins.

I don't understand some of you people, you complain about the TP being a lemon but yet your trying to get a TP2. You guys are the problem...trying to get a free ride

This is exactly what i'm trying to say. you hit it right on the head. If i have a company that is pissing me off and another company right behind it creating defective phones and its pissing me off, why would i be trying to sign a new contract and get the new phone made by the same company. The op and everyone that agrees with him is just trying to get over and be cheap. The reason sprint is in this position is because it does charge less for its plans which means it will have the lower end customers. Verizon and at&t have the same phone which is made by the exact same company, but yet sprint get these stupid threads as soon as a new phone is released that someone wants but doesn't want to pay for it. The tp1 didn't start overheating after 30 days, on day one if you plug it in and talk it will get hot, why didn't you return it within your 30 days. Not to mention half of the other gay problems. Like someone said the raised home button, thats not new and if you did the research hella people have that problem, why did that person still buy the phone and now they want a free replacement, go somewhere with that bs.

its not a bad experience when someone tells you its a user error and then you come on the thread and everyone agrees with the sprint people. you obviously need to go somewhere else. Anyone who complains about a company and stays with them is an idiot. maybe if you leave then start complaining i understand but to still be with them and complaining is beyond me. If i didn't like sprint, guess what i'de go somewhere else that simple. I wouldn't be fighting with them to give me a 2year contrace and a discount on an upgrade made by the same company i had problems with. Who is the idiot at that point?

i don't want one. this tp1 was a failure. i've said a thousand times i'm not giving htc or sprint for that matter another cent toward a new phone. i'm riding this tp1 pony 'til it dies. instead of you guys and gals jacking this thread with your holier than thou nonsense, go to the i love giving my money away thread

I'm not really directing my frustrations at you, you defintely make sense because i have heard you say that before but the op doesn't see it your way, he wants another 2year contract and another htc phone. But i will stop now, it just hurts to read someone say sign me up for another 2 years and give me the same brand phone and complain at the same time.

Well, that's your first problem. You're very lucky they replaced it after the first time without TEP. After 30 days, if you decided not to have TEP, that's on YOU. What's wrong with us? We're tired of these threads about people getting mad at Sprint every time a new device comes out that they want to be upgraded to but Sprint said no. Seriously, I don't care what you think, they still owe you nothing. Get in line and follow the written procedures like the rest of us and quit waiting for a handout. You should have gotten TEP, so don't come in here mad at us because of a poor business decision on your part.
