Re: Bricked Verizon HtC touch pro 2

ok.... might be some misconfusion here.... everyone is refering to the power button but you are on a verizon phone, so just in case....

push the volume down button and hold it. then push and hold the power/ (or sleep button on verizon RHOD500 Phones) until the boot loader shows up.

once it does then plug in your usb cable, the screen should indicate that you are connected to usb. flash a stock rom first. then unlock and then you can flash a new rom

Yeah no go. May have to see if its the battery and try again. if not may be toast, no bootloader won't even power on if you disconnect from charger loose orange power light. sounds like a dead phone

Re: Bricked Verizon HtC touch pro 2

Just to be sure, when you hold the volume down button, are you then pressing and holding the Red Phone (send) button?

Also, I would pull the battery just to make sure it is "powered off", and not in a "Screen of Death" state.
EDIT: Nevermind, re-read and saw that you have already pulled the battery.

Re: Bricked Verizon HtC touch pro 2

I tried the red send (with power indicator logo) (c-). volume first, then power. removed battery no change. And finally volume the top power button separately no change

Not to beat a dead horse or anything.(no pun intended)
You are pressing the volume down and pressing the Red End Call button AT THE SAME TIME, right?

So: Volume down and hold it, while holding it down, then ALSO press the red END call button.

Just had to be sure you were doing it this way.
I know others were checking the same, but I am not fully convinced you have it straight yet.
If you do and it is indeed dead, sorry to hear it.
