Sprint Users: call to report if My Location weather is not updating

I was just gonna say the same thing. My touch pro2 wont update over 3g but my Evo updates fine. I hope the 4g thing is true tho. Would love to have it here in ohio since I have to pay extra for it.

I don't really have anything to add on the weather issue (still not working in Ravenna, Ohio), and since I don't have Wifi close I can't check that.

Dude, they make you pay the extra $10 even though there are no 4G towers in Ohio yet?? That is total BS. You should not get charged for a service you can't use yet.

I'm experiencing the weather problem in Medina and Akron.
Has anyone tried to get something out of Sprint for the inconvience yet?

startin to look like a ohio issue here C-bus, Ravenna, and now Akron..... Ill call into the ever so smart tech support and report back.

Update : So im talkinig to tech. support now and this one has no idea what htc sense is...

Update #2 : So while on the phone after I got to the right person they told me to update the weather and BAM!!!! There it was.

I never realized so many of us were in Ohio, let alone two in Ravenna (not really that big of a "city"). I am trying to update now, will let you know how it goes.

(for the record, Ravenna rocks, plus its so close to Kent, which really rocks).

EDIT - I still do NOT have Weather. This is horse crap, Sprint needs to pull their head outta their ass and fix this mess. Enough is enough already.

Definatly sounds like an Ohio issue. I'm in the Youngstown area no weather update on 3G for me either. Went to Pittsburgh this weekend updated fine until back in Ohio. Hope this gets straightened out soon.

damn, lebron took that with him too ! seriously, it's not sprint because the exact thing happened to a bunch of us hd2 users on tmobile. has anyone tried manually adding their current location? i'll bet that works, but not for my location. i think it's spreading, my hd2 didn't work in florida, and most others were in texas. it came back after a couple weeks, so you guys might have to wait it out.

Yeah Kent is where the KSU (Kent State University) Shootings happened. It was a terrible tragedy that should NEVER have happened. Chalk it up to another case of unexperianced military men shooting first and trying to take (NON violent) control second.

and for the record, only ONE of the people killed was even involved in the KSU Riot (That is just sickening).

Back on topic, Yes, if I select Akron as "current location" I can OTA update just fine (to bad Ravenna, Kent, or Warren don't get recognized) as Akron or Cleveland are both far enough away to not be 100% accurate (even more so Cleveland with lake effect)
