TP2 backlight setting is all screwed up & keeps changing

I have no idea why my TP2 backlight settings keep on changing. I have the "On battery power" setting set to 1 minute and it keeps on changing to 10 seconds. I have tried soft resets and that has not corrected the issue.

Any suggestions?
