What phones will you be swtich to from the TP2? - Page 3

im a tech junkie with 4 active lines,all mine... im gonna grab an EVO specs to much to ignore... but the TP2 will stay my number 1 phone.... atleast till the bulk of EVO customizations are out...then ill spend some time tweakin it out and it may replace my TP2 as my main phone,but too early to tell...

im not excited about android really, i like WinMO, but i think win phone 7 looks terrible and isnt even worth its Hype so far... i think after win phone 7 flops like most of their OS' do... winMO will fade into the backround for good.... MS has had chance and chance again to impress its end users and they usually fail to do so, so andorid is kind of the next evolutionary step really if you wanna stay on top...

i need either a portrait or landscape slider. just today typed out a long email response that would have never happened with an onscreen keyboard.
both htc and samsung have 4g phones coming out later this year (besides the evo, maybe a wp7 device?). curious to see those.

would be sick if dell would bring their new thunder/lightning/smoke over to sprint with 4g...

Apple has to be shaking something awful in there boots with Android taking the market like the iPhone did when it came out. I am not totally sold on android yet but I know for sure that a iPhone will never make it in my house.

the TP2 is a good phone, but I don't understand why would people want to stick with something that's running an out dated OS?? developers aren't even making any apps for our phone anymore.

my phone has all the apps i need (except maybe a netflix streaming app)... i don't think i am missing anything. can play movies, music, games, what more could you want with your phone.

Yeah I dont understand these ppl that need all the freaking apps in the world. Oh you dont have 2000000000000 apps on your phone? Your a loser! haha! I have all the apps i need also.

Going with Evo probably when I get my upgrade at the end of june. I know I can sell my TP2 for $200 on ebay so that should cover most of the costs. I can always sell the Evo if I dont like it

First off, you should consider changing the title of this thread to something a little more understandable such as: "What will you switch to from the TP2?" with switch spelled correctly and 'be' taken out of there. Just a suggestion.

As for me, i plan on switching to the Incredible here in a couple months. Its the next best phone for Verizon, and I'm very eager to try out Android

I already switched to the Incredible and have to say, it lives up to it's name. It IS Incredible! I've had it for 2 weeks now and haven't missed my TP2 one bit (although I still have it activated on another number to use as a mobile hotspot using WMWifiRouter.

The Incredible is AWESOME! Haven't had to reset it since I got it 2 weeks ago! and I had to reset my TP2 about 2-3 times a day!

are you converting on your pc and then transferring to phone? if so, what converter appa are you using? and are you using divx's mobile player? just curious, b/c i'm looking for the same solutions...
