Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

I'm about done with this overclock...AGAIN. Keep getting lockups.

I am using one of the older scripts and have not had a problem at all. If you want I can upload (I did). There are several similar versions available depending on your REG settings, but this approach has been bomb-proof for me.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

I'm slightly confused right now. I've got the following installed:

MSM7kCpuSpeed V2
MortScript
OC Auto 4.21

I've set everything at 729 but when I open MSMykCpuSpeed it only shows 604. I have 604 set as my throttle speed. Is this what it should show, or did i do something wrong?

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the changed speed to show up. Check again. If it's still 604 then reboot and wait about 5 minutes before checking. When I first tried the program I kept rebooting, thinking it wasn't working.

So I've got the right components installed? I'll try restarting.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

With the newest app I noticed that my CPU speed reads 528 when I stop the app. If I start it at any other speed higher or lower, it jumps to that speed and slowly drops down to around 100. Is this normal?

did you click on the OC Auto 4.21 icon and apply settings there and reset when it told you before opening the msm7k app?

yea those are default settings.
to know whats your top speed, try setting "#Steps" to zero so it wont auto-scale down.
Then try higher speeds & when you freeze, you hit your limit.
No prob just reset it should revert to default & you have to set your settings to apply again.
