Re: power button issues on 6.5?

Interestingly enough, I have a friend who I've upgraded his TP2 to the official Sprint update when it came out and he has no stand-by of death issues at all....

Re: power button issues on 6.5?

Sprint replaced my phone on 5/18/10 because of this problem. So far, so good. I'll try to remember to give an update in a week or so.

Re: power button issues on 6.5?

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...15&postcount=1

all the stock roms are there, both sprint 6.1 and 6.5
if you want a good 6.5 ROM i think costom is the only way to go. otherwise, I had no trouble with 6.1 using mobile shell instead of tf3d.

wow, just looked. my phone manufactured on 8/17/2009.

Re: power button issues on 6.5?

So as far as evryone concerns, no real reason to go 6.5?

I had a Titan and I thought it was good to go to 6.1 from the 6.O ROM. But I guess 6.l to 6.5 is not the same?

it's not the 6.5 so much for sprint as it is the newer version of sense is a serious memory hog.
with the custom ROMs 6.5.3 or 6.5.5 is alot more finger friendly.

Re: power button issues on 6.5?

Well, I stick to the default WM interface on my TP right now and will dx the same w/TP2. Not really into Touchflo or Sense.

So far I haven't hear of any feature in 6.5 to convince me to upgr from 6.1. Actually this SOD problem really argue against it

Is there a sure way to induce this problem? I want to see if mine is afflicted when it comes. It probably is...

Re: power button issues on 6.5?

guys i dont have this problem since i figured what the cause is, the phone goes into sod because it is busy reading from your micro sd, the main culpit is the htc music tab since it keeps scanning for songs everytime, speacially if you have a big card. the solution is to remove the htc music tab and to use another player that automatically generates a playlist i.e. pocket music. since i have done this the famous sod is gone so iadvise you guys to do the same
