Besides, you're missing the point- My problem is more with their attitude than the actual product. Yes, the first time the product failed. I got it working in the end, and many people got it working by paying a license fee. I could pay again and have it working I'm sure. But charging for the HSPL was supposed to be a deterrent for people vending it out for money, and since I'm not doing that it feels wrong to pay for a product that is accusing me of it.

and how the **** are we supposed to automatically tell the difference between you and someone at a GSM shop with 100 devices to unlock?

thats what happens when people are ungrateful, youre talking about dumb f's but have you read the comments in this thread plus people blatantly talking about cracking this mans hard work in the same forum he created the hspl for. you do realize we waited 1-2 months for the hspl and they worked on it everyday for free right?

the vast majority of people don't have to do this, and if you only have to get 1 replacement then you don't need to do anything.

If you do however and you feel that it's your moral right to get our work for free then as I said before, you can contact us and wait.

I do appreciate the work they did, lets face do they help? yes! I proudly paid for the SIM unlocker because of the great work, I just don't really expect him to come in here in such an aggressive attitude towards members from the site with genuine problems, to those actual tards though that can't get it right, let them be, they shall learn from mistakes, as to the crack... I must be one of those supports for reasons such as those who once again have genuine problems but can't afford to pay when they get no reply to a open ticket. not trying to argue with anyone, just my thoughts on this.

I think you should know by now that I'm typically sweary, however, I don't intend to aim aggression at anyone specific.

As far as "genuine problems" go, this is either down to people who don't want to (or apparently can't) pay (bearing in mind the cost is about the price of a pint of beer in a pub) and this particular group of people essentially behave as if Hard-SPL is a god-given right like food and water, which it's not.

the latter group are people who say they've paid but still can't apply Hard-SPL to their device... now, let me say that when you do that, if your IMEI wasn't detected then the donate page will leave a box for you to enter your IMEI into - if you don't do that and go ahead and donate then obviously you are going to have to open a ticket up because we've still got no record of the device identity.

You are right, have i had my TP2 replace, sure I haven't and no it was never said we have an entitlement to multiple unlocks but why call it donation in this case? might as well change it around to a different option, such as "Pay now and get 3 more future unlocks! $10." such feature might have a higher priority over users who don't want to rather pay that fee or rather than that give the "donation". I'm grateful for the application. I'm just saying... people see things differently in this world now days. greed is a bad thing.

edit: to your post above, true true.. swearing is sometimes an addiction, I learned not to do it though the hard way in military school but my main post above is just a suggestion so people stop crying over the whole donation this and that... make the IMEI a must to avoid dumb mistake tbh.

semantics, I don't really care what you call it, we just call it a donation because the vast majority of people are able to unlock for free.

those who aren't are usually the friend/sibling/spouse/colleague of someone at the same place who already unlocked their device.

As for those with "replacement devices", it still doesn't change the fact that you got a free unlock - it also actually baffles and somewhat offends me that people will pay $100 to Asurion for the replacement phone but they begrudge us the 4 quid for Hard-SPL.

Well it was nice having this conversation with you, no harsh feeling, didn't want to make it seem as if I hate you what so ever. so if i did cause you to hate me, I'm sorry great work on the unlocker and hopefully issues with others get resolved. The donation is ok I assume after all it is you're product so you have the rights to it after all.
