i think that 5g cap is for mifi cards, tethering, etc... i use more than 5g every month, used 11g last month, never been charged per kb...

Re: sprint 5g cap on TP2?

I use 7-8 gig every month but what works for me doesn't guarantee it will work for you. Every Sprint contract states "Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred and to deny, terminate, modify, or suspend service if usage exceeds 5GB per month in total or 300MB/month while off-network roaming. Check your subscriber agreement rights on Sprint.com." I have never heard of them charging you if your on an "unlimited" plan but they can cancel your account. Again I haven't ever seen them enforce any of this but it is always possible and if they do I would be the chopping block for sure as I have been with Sprint for over 10 years and have been over using data for almost all of that time.

Re: sprint 5g cap on TP2?

"Stealth tethering" isn't required for Sprint. You can't really stealth it anyway, it all shows up as data over the phone. Now if they actually look at what you're doing - it'll be obvious you're tethering.

They won't do anything about it though. I regularly go over 5GB to no ill effect. Sprint treats me well. As long as you're not abusing their network too terribly, they tend to let it slide.

Re: sprint 5g cap on TP2?

I always wondered why ppl call it stealth tethering.
I see the data meter big as life on my bill.
What are we hiding?
ppl deserve to get busted if they abuse the network. I mean cmon, if you are doing 15-20+ gb a month shouldn't you be getting out of your Mom's bed & get your own place with net connection?!
& size does matter so get a screen bigger than 3.6 inch bedwetters!

Anyhow, as for pron on the TP2, works great for me streaming in from brazzers.
