Re: Battery Don't Last a Full Day, need suggestion which program is causing

I found my problem to be Windows Live, I had it checking hotmail "as items arrive" and the battery wouldn't even last a full work day (8 hours). Changing it to only check once an hour now gets me through almost a full day and a half.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/17992; U; en))

does that data disconnect work on the verizon touch pro 2 and mighty rom?

if so does it screw with the ability to answer calls like it does with sprint?

I haven't tried it yet cuz I'm scared it'll jack up answering calls again, but I might give it a shot.

Yeah - if you saw my post the other day in there, it gave me conflicting & inconsistent results using the strra 60secs cab + the #777 fix.
disconnected but unable to answer calls 100% & also not being able to reconnect to the net.

Maybe you can provide feedback also after your shot! Thanks

Totally agree the MSLive/Hotmail delivering mail as it arrives drains the battery.
I am highly suspect of any reports that ppl have MSL AND Gmail sync on, that they are getting good battery performance during the day.

Only 1 company has been able to manage the battery/push mail formula: Blackberry.

Else, it's just anecdotal whenever, any1 comes on here & say they have a WinMob fone set on push mail all the time with good battery life.

Re: Battery Don't Last a Full Day, need suggestion which program is causing

VZW users that noticed a big change in battery discharge when you upgraded from 6.1 to 6.5, there's a lot of people that's having battery drain issues. if you google this, apparently, people who updgraded their phone to 6.5 is now experiencing a faster battery drain. one of the issues is regarding BT draining battery. but there's also complaints that even when they installed the fix/patch/cab for that, their phone was still draining battery like a drunk driking socially in a distilling factory.

Re: Battery Don't Last a Full Day, need suggestion which program is causing

I'm at 80% using my phone from 8am - 2pm. about 20 minutes in calls, and 12 text messages.

Running stock rom with stickied tweaks and SPB-MS 3.5.3 and s2u2.

I changed the backlit. The automatic settings tends to be very bright, so I changed that down to 30% when on battery, and 60% when being charged. If you want to be very conservative, you can change down to 20% on battery, but that's very dark, and very hard to see if there's a lot of daylight.
