Just curious but what happens if you insert you phone into the case the opposite way to normal e.g. insert so back cover goes against magnet, and not the screen. That was my fix for the auto-on / magnet issue. Doesn't work with all cases though.

This problem would not occur if you had a magnetic case that had magnets in the main body of the case and just metal in the upper flap.

the phone uses a magnetic sensor to know that the keyboard has slid open. so when our phones pass the magnetic flaps, the phone thinks that keyboard has been opened. I am not sure how to disable that without disabling the screen rotation when the keyboard is slid open.
