Re: turn by turn gps
The free version of AmazeGPS v. 4.5 is here: http://http://www.brothersoft.com/mobile/amaze-download-4589.html
Just scroll down to the compatible device, download and install. When it is first run, you sign on as a New User; it will generate a User ID and Password. Input the new User ID and Password when you launch the app the second time. (Sorry, I had to post enough times to be able to post a link; hope this complies with the TOS) |

Re: turn by turn gps
I've been using iGO8 for a few weeks now and love the Kate from UK voice. Wife and I call her Money Penny.
But seriously, iGO8 works great, no install required after initial setup. I flash new roms on here once a week w/o a hitch in iGO8's performance. Very easy interface, customizable too (changing around the left display to show Current Speed, Current speed limit, etc.) Last edited by 127.0.0.1; 01-12-2010 at 09:39 AM. |

It also came up with some rather bizarre routing from point A to B at times. ~John |

the best navigation device is my cars windshield. realistic graphics, real time movement, continuous weather updates (just look up), traffic alert w/ sound notification (if your driving under 8mph and using your horn, yup your in traffic), it lacks voice guide but makes up for it with the visibly obvious conveniently placed street signs and best of all its 100% FREE.. hahahahaha, oh and occasionally i'll use telenav as a backup.

Re: turn by turn gps
Just tried amAzegps myself. Yup, it's kinda laggy. Plus no spoken street names and a test route was very strange.
Is iGO free or fee? |
