we all know who the real person who found/made this workaround. honestly i hate when i dont get credit. like on my registry tweaks thread. i will always give credit. the only credit i want is for thanks for finding it and putting a bunch of, what i think, usefull regedits into one thread.

Here is the thing that pisses me off about this issue..

Nowhere on Sprint's, HTC's, or Microsoft's websites or support portals do the companies even acknowledge this issue existing. All reference to the issue is posted by users in forums! If you screw up admit it, Let people know you are working on it, and let them know when it is fixed.

Is that really so much to ask for?

I agree 110%. For this one, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, so I figured I could give back to those, like psycho, who have helped me get to where I am now. All most of us have ever asked for is for others to thank us, some of us have spent a lot of time helping others out, just because we're nice people, not for personal gain. I look at it this way, the more I figure out things for others, the more I learn, the more I learn, the better I become, so the more I can help.

That's right, Ziggy was in IRC when I was b!tchin about the 2016 issue. Within minutes, he had me try a regedit that comes stock with verizon, viola it worked! No issues since..

“A patch is in the works for devices impacted by the SMS 2016 Text Message Date/time stamp issue. The patch and cab files that resolve the issue for affected devices are under final test. Once testing is complete, the files will appear on HTC’s support website for the devices (http://www.htc.com/us/support).”

where is that official statement located? i would like the htc.com link to where they posted that.
