Maintain linked Facebook contacts between flashing ROMs?

Folks, for Manila 2.1, there's an easy answer here:

Backup the \FaceBookInfo.vol file, and restore it after you flash. (You can use File Explorer to just copy it to your memory card...too easy).

It contains all your contact links. There's also a folder that contains all their pictures, but you don't need that since Manila will pull down their most recent pictures anyway once that file is restored.

For the flashing junkies among us, Sashimi will back it up, but has a but that it won't restore anything in the "\" folder. A mortscript works here.

I personally use PPCPimBackup to back up that file, plus all my contacts, messages, etc. (set it up as a "Custom" file link), plus Sashimi for grabbing all my Owner and ContactCard info out of the registry, then automatically restore them both after a flash.

Now, I've been using M2.5 off and on, and I HAVE seen those notes in my Outlook contacts, just didn't know what they were for. Thanks for the info!

facebookinfo.vol backs up all contacts and the sense favorite contacts? or is it just the facebook linked contacts?
