I don't care who was surprised. The FACT is there were over 7 times as many winmo devices than Android devices. And the winmo market share actually grew, so it MUST have something to do with device sales.

I'm not changing my argument. All those old winmo phones people don't use on an everyday basis. If my job ties me a 6700 or mogul that doesn't mean that's the phone I'm going to use on an everyday basis. Nobody uses winmo for everyday day phones. Don't you see how many people try to get free upgrades to tp2. People aren't walking in demanding free iPhone 3gs' when sprint gives that free upgrade they just saved Microsoft because most people wont upgrade. Do me a favor the next time you walk into a Verizon or sprint store walk in and ask if they sell more droids or winmo phones.

The Droid doesn't play PlayStation games because the games you can play are 10x better then anything currently on winmo

Read that link again and try to comprehend it. It IS trelling you what devices people use on an everyday basis. That is precisely what they are saying.

I think we could all use a lot less of your opinion and a little more fact to back up your argument.

If you want to argue, post some facts. That article said there were FAR more winmo devices being sold, and used everyday, than Android- in the USA.

If you have something that claims otherwise- post it. But we all know you aren't an expert on this matter, so stop acting like we should just take your word for it. I just posted FACTS that PROVE it.

Salty I'm not sure if you're understanding that report correctly. In October that was the month Android rose to its all-time high. Posting that report does nothing for your argument. If iPhone just beat them for the 1st time but yet iPhone has been dominant for sometime now. Windows needs a change then that would impede the progress of android and may be able to beat apple in marketshare this year.
