Your're wrong man. Sling Player does NOT work on the iPhone. It works over WiFi only, not over 3G. So do your homework before you post and you'll see who really failed here, lol.

And by the way- the iPhone does none of that stuff unless you jailbreak it. WinMo does it all out of the box.

You're losing all credibility man. You think just because you say it over and over it will make it true?

Again- Sling Player does NOT work on the iPhone. It DOES work on the Touch Pro 2. There are also a bunch of web browsers to choose form on WinMo, but Apple rejected them all on the iPhone because they competed with Safari.

First of all who said it had to be 3G... I said it works! For one its choppy as hell over 3G anyways, but again I dont use it like the majority of people dont so its not a good measuring stick anyways. And youre right about the jailbreaking part, kinda like iphone is faster than winmo out of the box WITHOUT all of the tweaks and rom flashes, has multi-touch and is more responsive. Also has tons more apps, better gameplay, rotate is 10 times faster with the accelerometer. Oh and you dont have to jailbreak to multitask anymore... there's an app for that... it's called backgrounder.

Yea and safari is faster and views better than every browser on the tp2 too... the only exception i'd give is skyfire. And the fact that you have to use a third party app to justify your argument is sad as hell and makes my whole point... I said what benefits about the PHONE not an app.. because really if we get on the subject of apps that the iphone has that winmo doesnt I could make a list a mile long.

Wrong. Sling Player is not choppy over 3G. Maybe on Sprint's crappy 3G wherever you live, but around here it's fine on both Sprint and AT&T (the only 2 networks I've used it on).

And you need it to work on 3G because that is the whole point of the add and the device- to watch your tv on your phone over the net.

And no, WinMo is not slow out of the box, lolo. Get your facts straight. WinMo is slow after HTC and Sprint get done hacking up up and loading it full of bloateware. All of the tweaks we do to WinMo are just to put WinMo back to it's "out of the box" condition (before HTC and Sprint hacked it up).

I don;t "have" to use a 3rd party app. I'm just pointing out that I "can" use a 3rd party app. You know Opera made an iPhone browser that got rejected by Apple for competing with Safari, right?
And it is a benefit of the PHONE that I can install whatever app I want, without some Nazi denying me that freedom.

i think once it gets winmo 7 update i'm off to the hd2 but only time will tell. it may be too big, i just may get that 3.7 amoled screen phone that santod posted.

I'm not an early adopter type, so I'll wait and see how 7 pans out. I'm also very loyal and I've been with Sprint 11 years now, so I can wait to see what they have to offer.
