after using it a bit more, geez the keyboard sucks. I was just installing stuff when I was enamored with it's speed. My buddy went Windows phone b/c of me from the Iphone(he cracked his and only had the 3g, not 3gs) and was used to the keyboard on the iphone. I can confirm that the keyboard on the HD2 is not as good as the Iphone's. I don't know what it is yet. Maybe HTC isn't good with the capacitive screen and accuracy? OR, I just suck at on screen kb's. But he doesn't like it either. Something to consider. It is fast and sexy though.

Yeah I am not even pretending I could get by without a keyboard. That's the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on an HD2 when it is released. There is another option though:

That comparison shows the CDMA Touch Pro 2, the T-mobile HD2, and the LG Projector phone that AT&T has. You can see that LG phone is almost as nice as the HD2 spec wise (better than the Touch Pro 2 anyway) and it has a keyboard. If you don't mind AT&T, it could be the one. And it's available right now, no need to wait several months.

I didn't know that thing had a snapdragon processor until earlier today...

What? it has a snapdragon processor? But LG doesn't get the rom support that HTC does right? The Leo forum is FILLED with roms....

But how can I give up my Sero $49.99 plan with 1250 minutes and unlimited everything, text and internet. I can't, no matter how "nice" these other phones are. The grass is always greener....

But damn that LG phoe looks almost PERFECT! OH SNAP! Oops. Only 256 mb ram. Less than the TP2 and that doesn't even match up with the HD2's 448 mb. Makes life a little easier. HD2 keyboard is pretty bad.....for me....ymmv
