Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

I check this thread every couple days. Unfortunately I do not have the knowledge or resources to crack this problem. Are the powers that be still working on this?

Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

Am using a custom ROM cooked out of Calkulin's Kitchen 1.4...

it is a 6.5.3 ROM with 1922 manila on top of it (Sense 2.5)

I can receive pics thru HTC's messaging client with no problems, and appear to be able to send pics...

of course running into the same issue sent but never received.

So, we're still stuck on the lack of an IP address for Sprint Pic Mail...

Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

First off, this is total speculation on my part. Sprint indicated that the delay in their 6.5 release is due to "significant enhancements to the Touch Pro2 user interface which will allow additional customization / personalization options and more integration with the applications users access most." That could possibly include some form of the new HTC messaging. Perhaps that update will give us some hope on this issue.

Again, total speculation and wishful thinking.

Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

can we please keep on topic?

but to what you said...I think that's Sprint's way of saying that the 6.5 release will feature Sense 2.1. Much like Verizon's...highly doubtful that Sprint will be releasing 2.5 on the Touch Pro 2 when it is a couple of months away from being LAST generation with the HD2 on the horizon.

Besides, the messaging client in 2.1 works properly while the messaging client in 2.5 still doesn't.

other than this posting by me, every post before yours (that i looked at) is on topic. what are you referring to?

just because someone is questioning what's going on or what's happened, doesn't mean it's off topic, does it?

that being said. for all of us on Sprint, i'm afraid there still isn't any good news.
