Should JUICY cook HTC messaging back into R6 ?

the problem is that becasue htc messaging app is disable using the "text message" part in Manila contacts doesnt work... so now you have to do like 3-4 steps to send a message..

anyways all im trying to figure out is if there is a way to re-enable it in the registry or something

And in the spirit of how silly this thread is, I also took a poke at the effectiveness of polls that don't originate from the folks who would be making the decision for/against change. Sorry you didn't get it.

So to sum this up, if I was Juicy and I was presented with this poll asking me to reconsider my personal likes and preferences in rolling my own personal use ROM, I would have to laugh a little. If he didn't, I hope he did after seeing the dumb post I threw up. If he still didn't after that, I'll shut up and just buy him a beer for all the work he has done.

What I won't do is ask him to change.

You guys really need to read before you reply. We weren't bashing this rom at all. We are just simply asking for either a cab, registry edit, or for him to post a separate rom with the feature included for ppl who like it. Its a question and poll for Juicy ONLY! Which he has already said he has no issue with this poll..so stop sucking! ha J/k! But seriously relax!

I don't care as I would disable that laggy POS HTC app anyway, but if it can be disabled with a cab can't somebody just make a cab that does the opposite & enables it again???

Ever receive a gift from someone that they hand-made? Sweaters or some nice woodwork for example. Where that person put a lot of effort into making something and then gave it to you. Would you say to the person something like "This is nice, but can you redo it more to my liking?" This poll kinda stuck me as that kind of lack of tact.

I would have gone the way of tabling it as a discussion - "Hey Juicy. Noticed you removed this functionality that we've seen in other roms/builds. It affects this and that. Was there a problem somewhere that this was the best solution?"

I don't understand why you and other people keep pointing this out. we understand juicy puts his hard time into it and yes of course he will do what he wants (even though he makes the roms for the community, not for himself, so this poll is definitely worthy of an answer. more then likely juicy has a customized rom he runs for himself, but who knows) but asking for a consensus is not a problem. for those who keep saying its juicy's choice, we all know that and are just wasting your time. The op asked a simple question and if you don't want to answer then go about your business and don't spam his thread.

LOL. He moved this discussion from the original juicy thread so it would conflict with anyone and simply asked ppl to vote on wether they liked it in or out(no homo), but you guyz are too much. What does mannerism have to do with this thread?

Hmm, hate HTC messaging. But if there is no cab to reverse it, I'd just leave it there and have those that want to disable it install the cab.
