Should JUICY cook HTC messaging back into R6 ?
 

Juicy recently posted R6 Rom but due to public request removed HTC Messaging to make MMS work "out of the box". I feel it is very inconvienient but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Please Vote and if Im not alone maybe Juicy will cook it back in.

no juicy should not put it back in. I don't understand why you are picking looks over functionality. htc messages looks nicer but doesn't send mms and is much slower.

its Juicys choice. i can live with or without it.
if left out i wish there was a way to get manilla to use the 2.1 sms interface, then still have the all messages soft key that takes you to the native app.

Agreed. HTC messaging is too slow if you have more than a few messages in a convo. I'm glad he took it out, but I wish he could fix it so that clicking the text in manila went straight to said message.

It's his ROM and he chose not to include HTC messaging. You either live with it or move on to another ROM.

truth be told he will probably do what he wants on most of his rom choices. He doesn't always design what other want. He designs what he thinks to be the best rom. So I really do see the point here but oh well.
