My memory usage is at 45% after a soft reset. After running a few programs it goes up to about 55%.

For the battery issue, I'd make sure that your WiFi isn't on or searching as it does with Tom Condons Wifi Router.

And have you done the Touch Pro 2 Cleanup?

Re: terrible battery life

Well, palringo does suck battery.. Mine wont last a day with palringo on.
Without palringo, my TP2 can last 1,5 day with gprs always on and push exchange mail set to "as items arrive"

Re: terrible battery life

Is there any way to log how often and for how long programs connect to the internet for updates etc? I just flashed Juicy's R6 Rom and all of a sudden my battery is draining extremely quick. Most people have said how much better their battery life is using Juicy's ROM. I only have Phone and Data turned on, so it's not because of Bluetooth or Wifi. My signal is pretty good most of the time, and I've installed the NoPushInternet cab. My best guess is that something is connecting to the internet a lot, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to track down the culprit.

Thanks!

Re: terrible battery life

few tips u can use that gave me a increase in batt life, disable auto weather. I only update it when i wake up and when i leave work anyway. set any auto emails syncs to once a day or manual, disable the vibrate when screen pressed features (guaranteed big u a nice boost) Screen dim after 10s. and try not to let ur EvDO run when ur not using ur phone.

works for me.

That's probably about right for an untweaked stock phone. It will creep up as you use apps and they don't give the memory back.

Are you totally stock? Have you loaded any apps?

In any event, I agree with the other posters. Your battery life is definitely not normal.

Re: terrible battery life

I have a stock sprint rom and just let the phone manage my cpu usage, sometimes it gets up to 80-90% with no noticable lag. Right now I have 76% cpu, 51 hours since last charge, 1 hour(s) 22 minute(s) talk time with two bars left according to the wm meter. I would consider myself a light user, about 10-15 emails today and a hand full of texts.

I am in a good coverage area. That beats all the pda phones I've had in the past

Re: terrible battery life

have u installed a BT stereo cab . I can't remember exactly what it was called cuz I deleted the file shortly after I figured it out but it would kill my battery in like 4 hours on standby. if u haven't installed that, then back up your contacts with something like pim backup and try a hard reset. as for the memory, the only thing I did to help that was install tjeonly nopushinternet cab and the dynamic proxy cab. I'm at 44% at boot up

Wirelessly posted (htc TP2: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

Ditch the TouchFlo3D, you will see the battery life double. I have 3 batteries and don't care much about power drain. 2 days ago, I switched from TouchFlo3D to Mobile Shell. Wow, it's a night and day difference. For the first time, a single charge lasted 28 hours.
