now you just flash your rom. pull the battery and put it back in and allow it to charge for a while. then build/save your rom, hook up the phone to your PC and flash it. or save the rom to your SD card and flash that way.

It must have been the stock one.

Nothing has changes...the same R version and all...

If i can get back to the 2.40 b/l screen, and change an .nbh file on my sD card to re-do it....

which ROM should i use...

Read here. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=33857

Try DCD 3.3.4, 3.2.6, or 4.1.2

ok, now with radio
3.42.50

thank goodness...

I feel like i'm getting close...

How do i put a GPS enabled 6.1 now?

MUST I run build OS?

As i've said a bunch, i don't currently have the VB.NET framework on this pc....it must not be letting the BuildOS run?

Any pre-built 6.1 light ROMs?

am i close?

If this is the case, then you have locked your GPS.
Stock VZW MR1 & MR2 "DOWNGRADES" block the GPS.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376829

This link has what you need to get the GPS unlocked.
Once you are back to stock non GPS ROM.
Then you can run the Olipro 2.40.
Then flash the radio.
Then flash a custom ROM.

If you have any trouble running any of the tools in these posts, then you should seriously consider downloading and installing the recomended .net and VB.

Now what?

do i need .net framework?

a different program?

something on an sD card?
If you got to this point, you were Almost done, (Provided you did the "Fix xv6800 after SPRINT update" as per instructions).

Otherwise, It's not to hard to understand.

Download file.
Un-zip file.
Open folder.
Open ReadMe.txt in folder called "First".
READ.
READ.
Open ReadMe.txt in folder called "Second".
READ.
Now if you understand what you read, go over it one more time.

ReadMe from First
Be connected to activestink.
(even if your device only boots to the windows splash screen activestink can still connect enough to load this 1.2 bootloader)
Run TitanUnlocker.exe
FOLOW THE ON SCREEN DIRECTIONS EXACTLY
INCLUDING THE UNPLUGING AND PLUGING BACK IN PART
Be patient and be sure that it is complete.
Then without disconecting, or restarting your device
go to the second directory and folow the directions there.
Official get back to Verizon xv6800 thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376829

ReadMe from Second
While stil in bootloader mode run ROMUpdateUtility.exe
Follow the onsreen directions.
When your device boots up - LET THE VERIZON CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN.
Enjoy being back on Verizons service.

At this point you will need to run Olipro 2.4.
That puts the bootloader into the GPS ready phone.
Once you get the tri color screen that has Olipro 2.4, you are almost done.
Now put the Radio on an SD card thet has been formated fat32.
Make sure the file named "TITAIMG.nbh" is at the root of the card.
Put the card into the phone.
Hit the reset.
When the phone starts back up you are now ready to flash a GPS ROM.
Make sure that you read about the ROM that you are considering.

EDIT:
Added a few GPS programs. GPS Test is installed from PC.
mGpsCmd is a tittle program that you can paste to the Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder.
Or browse to it on the phone and tap it.

olipro - done!

radio.... claims R 3.42.50 -done?!
d. 3.57

M09
b03

DCAAXAM-4350H

Now it boots Verizon splash.....service is working...

6.1 pro. WinMo rom w/ 25 mem free(is there a way to tell if it's free, unlocked, and gps'd?)

Also, this kinda stinks..

under
Settings>Connections>Comm.manager>settings>Wireles sLAN>Advanced

it says in the top box:
Driver is not loaded.

I didn't get a support disk or owner's manual with phone, it's an Ebay deal...
but the wireless worked before i originally went to Vz office to install phone to me...

but if i'm 6.1 pro....
i hope GPS'd....that's all i needed right...

so i can start using CAB files to add my today plugins, weather widgits, Voice Command, my games...etc..

Is that correct?

I know i've blitzed you guys, and maybe ladies, and i certainly have already appreciated immensely the help already received.

I will thank threads and stuff after i can confirm i'm going to be able to get the functionality back...+ GPS....

I figured no sense addin the wid's and plugs til i have the right phone ROM, right?

I sure have alot of memory now, and i hope the GPS is right...
What program do i need to use the GPS?

I've never messed with a GPS before, this is my ticket in!
Thank you again.

I found
Settings>System>External GPS with a blue globe/diamond icon..
