WM6 issue? My 6700 turns itself on CONSTANTLY... I've noticed that it seems to happen whenever my signal changes from EVDO to 1xRTT though it could be a total coincidence that it happens when such things happen.

Its my biggest bitch about WM in general... I "pocket call" my friends all the time because of this very issue. Its annoying at best, maddening at worst.

I was hoping that a new device would curb that behavior... but apparently, not so much.

Well... That didn't do it for me. For some reason my phone & battery are getting warm & my battery is dying super fast. Last night I took it off the charger at 3:30pm by 9:30 it was dead & shut off. In that time span I made 1 two minute phone call & showed an Iphone program to a few friends... That's it... Could the battery be bad? It didn't do this in the beginning...

Anyones battery is that is dying super fast, you probably have weather panel. Search for the fix on this forum and you should be good. This problem occured a couple of days ago with the program not updating but checking all day long.

That's pretty much a well known bug with Windows Mobile period. Unfortunately.

WRONG!

My GSM WM devices NEVER did this. I've owned many HTC phones before (tornado, Wizard, SMT5600, Hermes, etc...) ranging from WM2003, WM5, and WM6... and NONE of them randomly turned on like this. This is my first CDMA WM phone, and I thought there was something wrong with it because WM does not normally do that.

Now I see that not only is this "normal" for the Titan, its normal for the 6700 too!! What's up with that? Are all CDMA WM phones like this? Is it something to do with CDMA? This is messed up, and can in no way be due to Microsoft's software because as I said, real GSM devices don't do this...

Maybe its the way Sprint implements the software? Or does the Verizon version of the 6700 do this too?

Mine was like that.... I not get 70% battery after 12 hours. I turned off beam, turned off roaming, and turned off active sync.

This might be a valid claim if everyone having a super fast dead battery had weather panel installed. I dont; have never used it.

As I said, out the box, after charging, with NO 3rd party apps, the battery was below 50%. I mean hell, did a ghost play with my Mogul while I was sleeping?
