HTC Mogul Sprint ROM 2.09.651.3 (old=2.08.651.4)

I am confused and afraid to update the ROM in my Mogul. It works ok now, with the exception of having to reclaim RAM from time to time.

Is it worth it?
What do I gain besides the Sprint store . I cannot find clearly what features are improved with this update.

Could anybody tell me please?

Mine appears to be having the same problem. I haven't tried using the IP to get around the problem. If that solves it ... maybe I will go by the store to get it fixed. I have been able to get it back working by just turning it on and off (side power button) ... but that works maybe 1/5 of the time. Very strange.

I had one of the orginal 6800s the day they were released witht he old firmware. When I updated the firmware it started giving me issues and running really slow. Since than I have gotten another 6800 with the new firmware already installed and I am not having near the issues i am having with the one that was upgraded. Has anyone else noticed this? The software that is installed is all the same and the technical specs are all the same as well.

after reading through the last few pages, I don't think there was a fix found for Live Search 2.0, so I was wondering, does anyone know where I can find the previous version?

also, where can i find live search's registry keys in the registry, i searched all the places i would have assumed it to be, however, I could not find it.

Sounds to me like they released this rom to jump-start the custom rom's without actually helping them?

KEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\BACKLIGHT set auto sensor from 1 to 0

set the auto sensor back to 1 and u all good with the keyboard light issue

i noticed that after i loaded the new rom, i no longer have excel, word or powerpoint? anyone else experiencing this?

Did you check the Start Menu? There should be a folder called "Office Mobile"

I just tried to install that ROM on my PC from the HTC site & they said it was corrupted.
