Is Sprint still giving out refur'ed MOGULs?

still said Mogul for me too. I'm guessing they are "fixing" all the Moguls that came back from the lucky people getting Touch Pro's and are sending those out now.

I dont know what game Sprint is playing. but this is what i got as a replacement. i called Sprint tech support->phone not working dept. I got Touch Pro. May be i am lucky. I did not even ask them to send me a Touch Pro.

Yeah you are lucky I called asurion the other day after they shipped my refurbished mogul to the wrong place and tried again to get a touch and they said they were sending the mogul AGAIN. i was like dang o well

[Major Malfunction]

I tried to get my Mogul from 8/2007 replaced and was hoping to get a TP. My mogul had legitimate issues but knowing that Sprint customer service is basically incompetent, I waited months before I finally decided to try the Advanced Replacement.

What a mistake!!

I tried this begin of Feb since I saw that other people doing it were getting a TP instead. I was holding out unitl June when I coudl get a TP for a cheap upgrade. I ended up getting a refurbed Mogul as my AE through Sprint.

Got it the next day after asking for it...and it went downhill from there. The replacement phone worked for about 10 minutes after I switched over the service. And then trying to get Sprint to replace the replacement was an act of Congress. Got p***** from dept. to dept. and hung up on about a dozen times. You would think i was only person in the history of Sprint that received a busted AE phone?

Finally, got someone that actually understood the pretty basic concept that the replacement phone also needed to be replaced! And they transferred to the insurance dept. that wanted to charge me $55 to replace their busted phone!!!!

Got elevated to supervisor and 3 hours after I had started the whole thing, they told me a new phone would be on the way. 1 week later...still no phone. Got a supervisor on the phone and they figured out that the order had been put at the bottom of the need list and I probably never would have received it. So I *****ed that I had an unusable phone courtesy of Sprint and I wanted compensation.

They credited me for a month and overnighted me a new phone plus a new battery. Certainaly wasn't worth the effort or expense, especially considering it only needs to hold me over until June/July when the TP2 should be available and I can get my 2 yr. discount.

They game me the touch when i called in. I stay in LA so i would think that they must have a refurbish mogul somewhere near me. I guess its luck.... But its worth a try got nothing to loose...

too bad to hear that from you guys... May be we need to empty their Mogul stock by ordering them over AE and ask for replacement with small excuses.

touch pro today...i kept on complaining how I went through three moguls and the same problems kept occuring -- and threatened to close contact...so it will b here in 1-2 biz days

my contact is up in a month...i may sell it for 400 on ebay (assumign its retail kit)...then get the touch pro with my discount and get some profit

I got a address to go to some repair center by my house.... guess no TP for me.

My mogul is freezing up badly.

my mogul froze up again for the umpteenth time so i decided to take it in and try my chances, walked out with a free touchpro plus the guy handed me my mogul back and told me to sell it on ebay lol .
