forgot to mention, worked like a charm... however it did kill all LEDs i really dont mind though, the phone hasnt been out of my hands for more than five or ten minutes since i got it, barring sleep, and when my girlfriend demands that i put it down... so not having notifications LEDs doesnt bother me... actually having them blink to notify me of anything would irritate me too... thanks for the help...

-edited to add:

i did get rid of ilock and cant remember if it had any effect... either way, going without ilock is a small price to pay to not have aircraft trying to land on my mogul...

Notification LEDs do work with LED Killer. You just have to make sure you turn them on Start -> Settings -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications Tab -> Event of your choice and check the box for "Flash Light for" and pick a value.

When I first installed, I used 2.0 and it never worked on my Mogul. Just now I installed 3.1 (uninstalled 2.0) and I have to say, its nice to not be bothered by the blinking lights.

Hopefully I will not have a little bit better battery performance. Thanks for all the hard work.

Another option is a freeware app made by Triangle Powers that does multiple 6800 tweaks. One of them is to stop the blinking LED. I haven't tried this so I don't know how well it works and if notifications still have the ability to blink or not.

We have been talking about this over at WMExperts. The PC-6800 Hack will turn off the LED....all of the LED lights, except for the charging light. It kills the BT light as well, which I want. But it also kills the vibrate during a call as well. I always have mine ring and vibrate at the same time as I am often times in noisy enviroments. Once I set the PC-6800 to not kill the LEDs, I have vibrate back.

I love the rest of the PPC-6800 Hacks. I am now going to use the LED 3.1 to kill just the Green light and see how that goes.

.
The vibrate feature works fine with mine w/ the LED KILLER 3.1. Could also be that that I changed the value to one long vibrate

Hmm... sorry to hear, I am just about to try 2.0 because I didn't like the idea of having yet another process (from 3.1) eating my already meager resources. Will try it out and let you all know.

-----Edit----
Well so far, so good on my 6800 with v2.0. Initially I had problems after the install/reset but I read all my emails and reset again and the blinking lights went away. Will monitor over the next couple days and report back if I have any problems.

just installed v3.1 - my first mod to the phone. This has bothered me since i got the phone a few days ago - spent an hour with the manual trying to figure out how to turn it off.

Worked like a charm - thank you very much

Yes thank you very much, the green led was annoying everyone in my class I'm sure.

I'm still looking for some better control over LED so can't wait for future updates. I would really like to get the bluetooth blue led to light up for incoming SMS and Email notifications. Searched around and played around with HERMSLED but never could get it to work right.

So far this worked great on my Mogul.
