If you don't mind helping out, would you post about this app over at SU and point back to this post? I don't post over there, so it would be helpful for those users.

No entry in Running Programs?

Awesome work, stroths. I registered here just to snag this program - what an annoying "feature" the Mogul comes with...

Here's my question: I see that in /Windows/StartUp the file LEDoff is present. I assume that that is the program that runs your little heaven-sent gizmo whenever WM6 boots.

Now, why doesn't any app or service or whatnot appear when you go to Settings -> System tab ->Memory -> Running Programs tab?

well everything with the ledkiller was workin fine (v3.1)... threw it on the charger, orange light lit up like it should... then i woke up and started fumbling with the phone, seeing if i could get wifi at the hotel i was at, and did some other things with the phone, and both LED's lit up green and were blinking, cant remember if it was synchronis or what, killed the wifi, i think the left one stopped blinking...but the right one kept on... then i decided i would try a soft reset to see if it would stop again... it did kill the LED, then at some point it started up again, cant remember why, i was on my way to work, and just decided to uninstall it until i had time to mess around with it... im going to give both versions a try and mess around with my phone and see what the problem could be... i was thinking it could be batti battery meter i have installed, since it always displays a notification on the right soft key... i do have ilock and that could be it... either way, i will troubleshoot it and let you guys know what i find... btw, thanks for all the work...

If you look at the running tasks, you should see mortscript.exe running. Glad its working for you.

wel i tried out everything and found that when my device suspends or hibernates or whatever the green LED comes back... say if i tap the power button to go into standby or whatever, in about five minutes it comes back on... this is the same with whichever version... i do have ilock running... is there some power setting i sould not have the device set to? other than that it works perfectly... i may uninstall ilock and see if that works... again though thanks for all the hard work...

I don't use ilock, but some have claimed in the past that it didn't play nicely with LED Killer so it may be your culprit.

Another option is a freeware app made by Triangle Powers that does multiple 6800 tweaks. One of them is to stop the blinking LED. I haven't tried this so I don't know how well it works and if notifications still have the ability to blink or not.
