Is it possible to change the name of the Start button in the top left hand corner of the screen?

I believe the word start is part of the graphic used for the start button.

Actually I figured it out after I made that post. You have to extract a .dll out of the rom, you then change the name within the dll and replace the file and presto...
Check the pic for the file result. Thanks again for checking the post though... - ReDz

Every time I do a soft reset I loose certain registry edits, such as the device name change, etc... but certain registry edits are not changed, the edits that have to do with the performance, vibration, etc...

Wow, just finished reading FORTY SIX PAGES... I'm pooped!
But I still have two remaining questions, one of which has been asked a couple times but I never saw an answer... is there a way (registry hack or other) to: 1) wake/activate the phone when sliding open the keyboard? Sure I can press the power button but that's just an extra step. 2) customize alerts for text messages based on the sender? I get alerts from work on various servers, and need to hear them all through the night (i.e. they should wake me up). But I don't want to be woken up by drunk buddies texting at 2am. Surely somebody's found a way to do this? BTW, a couple people have mentioned #6 slowing down their Mogul... I've only had that tweak in place for a day now, but so far has sped my Mogul up to where it's actually usable. Before that I was carrying around a piece of crap that was so slow I could barely use it...

On the alerts, maybe PhoneAlarm.... I checked and you can have a different alarm for different e-mails... Perhaps send and e-mail at the same time as the SMS.
Bruce, the developer is rather responsive and might add this if you request it and it really does not exist... maybe buried somewhere in this mountain of code.

ive been looking for some time for some sort of way to shorten the length of the time the phone vibrates for when it receives a text. the tweak on the OP i can only get to work if i want it set to vibrate all the time. anyone know of one?
