Embedding GPS Data using HTC Camera
If you have HTC Camera installed, you can find GPS settings in the registry under:
\HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Image\ String Name: GpsPrefixString Data: GPS String Name: GpsSaveFolder_0409 Data: My POI EXIF Settings can be found under: \HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Captparam\ExifInfo Other GPS settings might exist thereabouts.

I'm attaching the registry editor I prefer. It's a cab file. Just rename it the .zip extention to .cab and run the file on your 6800. It will install the registry editor on your phone. You can find it by using the start menu. A word of advice - use the software to back up the registry before you start modifying things. There are dozens of good registy hacks and it's nice to be able to start with a clean slate. Another thing you could do is visit this site: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070. Schap has authored softward that will let you perform the most used registry hacks (like the one you mentioned) without messing with a registy editor. The beautiful part is it's extremely to change them back if you don't like how it performs after a hack. |

ok thanks for the fast reply, however I messed something up? I dl the file, then opened it up on my cell. it gave me this:
The central directory was not found in the archive( or you were trying to open a disk of a multi-disc archive) I am not sure what I did wrong, any guesses? |
