yes, I know how to do it all manually but wanted the registry tweaks to use with the new kitchen...

finally is there any way to get the signature in? I've searched through the registry several times, I can't figure out where that is stored...

Thanks!

Area Code: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\AddrBook\Default_Area = "316"

Set Hompepage: HKLM\Software\MicroSoft\InternetExplorer\home = "http//www.whatever.com"

Got 2 out of 5.

the area code can also be changed in the address book if you go into the options you can change the default area code

Re: remove PCS Vision login error 67

After I had upgrade to a customized sprint image with the GPS radio, everything works fine - except everytime I enable the phone, there is something try to connect to "Sprint PCS Vision", and then gave a notification 'error 67 the pcs vision username and password are incorrect... try again...blah.blah.."

After that the phone will logon to my ISP " TELUS " data connection, and everything is fine.

Is there any registry tweak, to remove anything try to connect to sprint PCS Vision or get rid of the error 67 notification ??

thx !

Re: Reg tweaks [07/15/2007 rev.2]

Thanks now I'm down to just the camera option. But I don't use it much anyway.
So thank you to everyone, I've added all my tweaks to my rom so I won't have to spend a day setting options every time I burn a new rom.

Thanks again everyone.

Re: Reg tweaks [07/15/2007 rev.2]

Is there a way to get ride of the scroll bar on the today screen? I have just plugins on my today screen so that it barely fits, but since its too close to my bottom bar teh scroll bar turns on.

@HOOF

Under HKLM\software\microsoft\today\items\

change the "type" to a setting of 5 in the folder of the plugins that you don't want to be affected by a scroll bar. this setting will lock the position of the plugin on the home screen.

He may still run into problems with that, as having multiple plugs use that setting didn't seem to work for me. Maybe try a plugin that can hold multiple plugins, and set that one to be type 5 in the registry. That's what I did with ultimate launch.

Re: Reg tweaks [07/15/2007 rev.2]

Anyone help on this one??? I use Resco registry editor and when I change the setting for phone volumne (HKlocaluser/controlpanel/phone/vol) I change the numbers to like 98500 or whatever, then exit out and try a call and the in call volumne is great much louder and clearer, however if I do a soft reset then the numbers go back to the default. I have ran the titanlunlocker and the default program in startup for htc security (or whatever) is removed so why cant i get this change to stick???? thanks in advance, Don

After making a registry change directly, you need to either wait 1-2 minutes for the phone to commit the change permanently, OR, you must power down the phone by holding down the power button and allowing a full shutdown. This also triggers the commit change to the registry.

What I have found with doing reg changes (using PHM Regedit anyway) is that if I make the change and then hit OK at the bottom of the screen, the change doesn't usually take. If I make the change and then hit the OK button instead, it will ask me if I want to save changes...I say yes and then it sticks every time...
