Speed Up Task Manager tab on home Screen

HKEY_Current_User

Software
HTC
Task Manager
Wait Time
I set it to 9000 and it has no lag when I tap on the Task Manager tab on the Home Screen.

Re: Reg tweaks [07/15/2007 rev.2]

Call me lazy guys, but I have not read the entire 41 pages. I implemented the fix the slow ringer fix and change the default vaule to 1. But when I place a test call, I cannot notice any difference in the ringer. Has anyone tried this edit and can share their experience with it? for the record, I am just using a standard old school telephone ring tone......

I am sorry to ask, however I am new at Windows Mobile devices. I have had many Palm devices in the past and have seen the WM light. How does one obtain the skin pack seen in the quote? Thank you in advance!

Hit the search bar and try "HTC Home" or google it. I used it for awhile it is a great program, but I got addicted to SPB Mobile shell 2 and all of their products.

This link has expired, any chance of an update or just a direct registry mod to make this change?

Re: Reg tweaks [07/15/2007 rev.2]

awesome regedit to actually DISABLE the threaded SMS and go back to regular SMS - and STILL retain the sms notification sound and bubble --

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM\
New DWORD = "SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"
DWORD Value = "1"

i have found that simply toggling back and forth between 1 and 0, automatically changes my inbox view from threaded to non-threaded, without even have to reset.. so it retains all message history. awesome!

Unzip this .zip, copy the .cab to your 6800, run the TrayIcons.cab, reboot.

I realize this is a Reg Tweak list... but with that in mind I do think that the request above deserves an answer, even though it does not involve reg editing.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=18714

My solution to the tiny x-button on the today screen is to map the Comm button to a little program called ZapIt (freeware) using Double Launcher (shareware). Both files are attached in the post above. When you need to close a program, instead of fumbling for the little X button, a quick click of the assigned button for ZapIt closes the program. This works for pretty much all programs I have tried it on, including PointUi, GPS software, browsers, file explorers etc.

Cheers,

Re: Reg tweaks [07/15/2007 rev.2]

I tried to speed up the wifi scan interval.

HKLM/ControlPanel/WIFI -> ScanInterval

Default is 20. Anything you put in there defaults back to 20 on a soft reset.

This is just an idea for helping my phone to find more APs for Navizon.

Any ideas on how to get that setting to stick?
