Under HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting, change all the Hidden* to 0 and all the Show* to 1

Go to the Phone Control Panel and Services, should now see
Location Setting
Voice Privacy (Not really sure what this is??)
Roaming
TTY Mode
Internet
Time Synchronization
Alert (Service Aquire and Lost Tone)
NAM Select (NAM 1, NAM 2, Auto-NAM)
Voice Mail
Mode of Operation (Hybrid, EVDO only, 1X only)
Plus Code Dialing
Automatic Prepend
Call Guard (I think this requires conformation for long distance dialing)
Roaming Alert

Disable Syncing in ActiveSync, but retain other functions

Here's a cool one I found over at XDA. You do this reg entry on your Windows PC rather than on the phone. It makes your PC treat every WM device you hook up as a "guest" so it doesn't pop up the activesync wizard. It just connects the device in the background allowing you to install apps via the PC if needed and browse the device using the PC like normal. If you do sync things to your PC then you don't want to use this.

I have been flashing a lot of roms lately, so XP would ask me to setup syncing every time because it thought I had a new phone.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services]
"GuestOnly"=dword:00000001

adrian2pm adrian2pm,

You don't need a reg hack for this. You just have to turn the notifications on for email and text. Click Start, Settings, Souonds and Notifications, Notifications Tab, Pick the appropriate option from the dropdown list (email, text message, etc), and make sure you check the box "Flash light for".

I can't install this registry edit software

Hey guys I know that all of you will think that I am an idiot but I have to ask because I am having problems.

How do you successfully install this regedit software on the phone? It is on my phone as a setup file. Every time that I click the setup file an error tells me that this is not a supported file. Please someone help me.

I tried reading through multiple posts on this forum but couldn't find an answer to my question below.

The date on my today screens reads as "November 6, 2007" I would like to add in the day of week so it would look like "Tuesday, November 6, 2007". Would anyone know if there is a reg hack to get this done?

Thanks, ReDz
