But J ... no more joystick... i LOVE the joystick and if your dumb enough to drop your phone and break it, you should have been aborted.
Ouch, J! So what you're sayin' is you aren't looking forward to the 6800?

LOL, tell us how you really feel. Don't hold back now...

and P.S. You're really reaching on some of those. You also neglected to mention the vastly improved keyboard slider, numpad, button feel, CAPS/ALT lock LEDs, light sensor, and backlight.

Some of us have had the 6700 for a year and a half now... it's time for a change to something smaller--that is the trend you know. Calling smaller a con because it might break easier isn't really valid at all.

I'll be buying--can't help it I'm a phone whore. I'll buy every PPC phone Sprint releases in succession the day it's released.

Nice to know from someone who has been actually using the device.

I'll be buying it just because I'm ready for a PPC and it's the best deal out there... well, at least the best one that Sprint offers.. no offense, you Treo users.. but my paws are just too damn big to use that tiny keyboard.

Okay....how many are going to be sitting at their local Sprint store wrapped up in a sleeping bag, sitting on a lawn chair, watching a movie on your portable DVD player, at 4:30 am in the morning just to ensure that you get one of the two units that are going to be shipped to your store within 15 seconds after the store opens?

...........now, be honest!

I would if my upgrade was in May/June and not September. And no portable DVD player here, I have my Q and 700wx.

*sheepishly raises hand, then lowers it*

Naw.. I live in the relative boonies. If my local store even gets any of them, I'll probably just be able to walk in and grab one. But guaranteed, I'll be there on launch day.

not me, I'm gonna let u suckas beta test it for me first, much like I did this 6700 then I won't be horribly upset when I find a few flaws with it (like most devices) after spending near $~600 for it.

ok I lied. one of the lines on this account is probably going to have it when its available, so i'll be able to testdrive it then

part of me is going to miss the feeling of security I get with the antenna stub between my index and middle finger while typing. of course, when the tumor shows up in 5+ years, i'll probably be alittle glum
