Just got the Mogul..need help!

Hello Everyone
I just received my new Mogul phone today and I have not figured how to customize my text message, email message, etc tones. I can set up a ringtone. i had the Treo 700wx and I was able to assign a downloadable mp3 to the text tones and so forth. Also, I have a blue light that keeps blinking. how do you remove the light? Last question, how do you obtain good battery life? It weird how the battery gives me an alert tahat battery is low when I have not used it.

Please help
