Re: Garmin GPS.......
I cant get the program to see the internal gps. I get the same message as the guy above me. Can I use my nuvi to get software from it and or maps?
The program I downloaded was supposed to be an image, and it includes windows as well as palm software. I so badly want this to work, and I am the guinea pig when it comes to trying new things. So if its not registered, how can I register it? I have a KG, but it wants a code from my memory card. I am using a generic 4GB card, so I dont think I have what it wants. Is there a universal number I can enter? |

Re: Garmin GPS.......
I have the software installed and running on my ppc. It only searches for the GPS on bluetooth. When I go into setting/system and hit remote gps, it goes right back to scanning bluetooth. I have no option to tell it to look for the internal GPS. If I hit cancel, it tells me connection allowed to garmin gps device only.
What am I missing?? I was never asked to activate, or enter in any keys or anything. I clicked setup, and it ran the program from my desktop. A few minutes later, my ppc asked if I wanted to install it on there. |

also, it doesnt seem to matter if you have a detailed map of a city loaded. I can do a search for cities where i don't have a detailed map, and it will show up on my global map (without the city details). |

Re: Garmin GPS.......
Does the mogul use satellites for GPS or the sprint data connection? The reason I'm asking is I'm wondering if I drive somewhere and I lose my Sprint service whether I will lose my GPS tracking or if it just goes off satellite and I'm good no matter what.
