As far as Holux GPS Viewer, just open it, set it to Com4, and click 'Open GPS'.. you may need to wait a bit for it to find a lock.. once it does, the Sat Bars will turn blue.. then your good.. then open TomTom and off you go.

Re: TomTom 6

i officially now think this program sucks !
is it me, or whenever i try and click on a POI during my route, it brings me to the stupid TomTom settings menu.. it does NOT tell me what the POI is, or anything even ABOUT the POI.. other that it is in fact, a POI....
VERY frustrating.. other progs, you can click the POI and a tiny bubble popup will appear, with the name, phone, and 'route to' if applicable.... not TomTom ???
is this just me ? anyone else ?

Re: TomTom 6

To the peeps running this, I use google maps as my primer because it only takes 15-20 seconds to lock. GPS Viewer takes slightly longer, closer to a minute or so. I let my phone sit out for quite a while and TT just won't lock on its own. Is anyone out there NOT using a primer??

I'm using AstroLauncher. I guess it qualifies as a primer but instead of opening one program to use another, Astrolauncher primes and opens TomTom at the same time.

BTW has anybody checked out the new maps? If I read it correctly from their website TomTom just got some updated maps....
