You have a couple options. You can create a link on your computer and transfer it via activesync to the \windows\Start Menu\Programs\ Folder.

You can download SKShortcut Manager and create it on your phone.

Probably other programs that can do it too.

Doesn't TomTom install itself into your Start Menu? I could have sworn that's where it ended up after my install.

If not just create a .lnk in "\Windows\Start Menu\Programs" to "\Programs\Navigator\TomTom Navigator.exe "

1. When I installed TomTom it originally installed to the start menu. All I had to do was press the Start menu then select Tom Tom from there.

2. If you have Resco Explorer, or the program eehrhard mentioned, you can just create a shortcut link to the Tom Tom file. If not then the attached file should work as long as the path to your TomTom exe file is: "\Programs\Navigator\TomTom Navigator.exe"

Just unzip it and copy the enclosed file to: "\Windows\Start Menu\Programs" on the Mogul.

There's no special program/methods required here. Everything you need is built into the OS.

Clement:
1) Using File Explorer, find that file that you say you're using to launch the program.
2) Tap and hold the file to bring up the context menu (like right clicking on a PC)
3) Select "Copy" from the context menu
4) Still using File Explorer, navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\
5) Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list
6) Do another 'Tap & Hold' in the little sliver of blank space beneath the last program listed ('Windows Media Player' on my device) ... this brings up the Context Menu again
7) Select "Paste Shortcut"
8 ) Rename the newly created shortcut to "TomTom" or whatever ... only reason for this step is because the name created by default is "Shortcut to -filename-"

Follow a_lazy_dude's instructions and it should work. I use Resco Explorer so much I didn't realize the built in Explorer could create a shortcut file as well.

Yes, do this. This is what you should do. It will work if you do this. Do this and it will work for you. Do this. It will work.
