Pennywise, are you attempting to flash from Windows Vista? If so, there is a different (XP) driver that needs to be loaded in device manager for the phone. The Vista drivers to this day, still don't play well when flashing a ROM. If you are running XP though, and you already mentioned that, then just ignore me.

I'm working from and XP pro machine. I just happened to post a few things from my vista laptop at home last night. Everything has been done on an xp machine though.

If I take this to the store can they flash it back or will they say Warranty Void? I really need this thing up and running for work. My boss is laughing his ass of at me.

Ok, I've been trying to flash everything under the sun to this thing since 6am and nothing is working. Unless someone has some NEW information that I can try, I need some advice on how to permanently disable this thing so it wont power up. I cant take it to the store and let them see the conflicting software versions on it. I was thinking of taking a 9v battery and and attaching wires to the leads then dragging the wires across the phones battery connectors. Bzzt!

Any advice on fixing or breaking further?

Your Problem: SPL doesn't match the updated Radio

Solution: Update SPL or downgrade Radio

Lol, I'll bet you are. Nah, I can fix this phone where it will never power on and I'll get the free replacement. I have insurance so worst case scenario, I'll put under my car and drive over and just pay the deductable.
