This man has it right.

I had the same problem after i flashed to the 3.27 radio. Got stuck at alltel screen and i had to install the new rom from sd card. From what i read i did TITAIMG.nbh to a sd card formatted fat 32. I have used this method for every rom since because active sync and usb is way flaky with my phone.

To totally fix your phone and bring it back to stock just download one of htc website. Then start over, like many people have it seems very very hard to brick these things, just people thinking they did.

+1 on the sd card method. It's the simplest way of flashing rom either with stock or hacked rom. From my experience, any bootloader will accept it as long as the card is formatted to fat32. That's the only format the Titan will recognize in bootloader mode.

The ones on the HTC site are .exe files. I put that in and it actually tried for about 15 sec but then crashed out. Should that be renamed something? I'm downloading a sprint file from the ftp right now.

Ok, I just got the sprint 2.09 off the ftp and it said Loading, Checking, Not allow. I'm getting a response! I just need that right file and things may be ok.

Used the SD card method, it works best. I have lots of problems with RUUs on both my XP laptop and different RUU problems on Vista.
Go into your Control Panel.
Select Folder Options.
Select View tab and select "Show Hidden Files and folders"
Uncheck "Hide protected Operating System files"
Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
Click Apply/OK.
Now run the .exe of the official ROM. Let it extract files.
In Explorer, browse to:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Temp

Run the .exe for the official ROM.
Click "Date Modified" header to sort by date.
Look for the most recent folder with a filename something like "pft11BF.tmp" (it won't have that exact name). It should have a datetimestamp of about the same time you ran the official ROM's .exe file. Go into it and look for RUU_signed.nbh.
If you found that file, you found the right one. Copy that on your SD card.
You can try renaming it to TITAIMG.nbh, but someone said earlier that isn't required.
Now boot into bootloader and if all goes well, it should load.

BTW, did you have a Hard-SPL installed? If so, you might use the official Verizon ROM instead of Sprint. It will also have IPL/SPL and radio in it as well. It won't screw up your PRL or EPST settings (flashing Sprint ROM will).
Good luck!

Well crud. I can find that pft.tmp folder but its empty and I checked/unchecked everything corretly. What I was able to do was use winzip to extract all the files from the .exe and get the RUU_signed that way. I renamed it and it says Loading, Checking, Not allowed. I even tried it without renaming it. No luck there either.

I did have hard-spl installed but I've used locker/unlocker, etc, etc. and at this point I have no idea whats on this phone.

Oh and when I try running the sprint .exe over usb it goes to 1% and errors out. Thats the last thing to load.

UPDATE: I tried it again your way, found the file, wont take unless named TITAIMG, Still says Not Allow. What the hell!

for the record:
Bootloader
TITA100
SPL-1.06.0000
CPLD-9

Splash Screen
M09 P DCAAXAM 4350
R 3.27.00
D 2.09

Winzip works, that's probably a lot easier than the method I outlined anyway.

What was the last SPL you installed?

If you last ran the relocker, you definitely need the Sprint ROM because it CID locks your phone to Sprint. If it's the Sprint ROM causing the "Not allowed" problem, you might try the Verizon stock ROM as my guess is the "Not allowed" problem could be due to CID being locked.

I had the same problem. Ran titan relocker, then started the 2.17 rom and all was happy. Hope this helps.
