Read my previous post. I had this same issue before and it's because the card needs to be formatted to fat32. I think it will read any .nbh file once in bootloader and it will work with stock bootloader.

Dude trust me, I have helped quite a bit folks on getting out of a "brick". From what I can tell the 2.17 Official ROM seems to be the one the phone likes to get out of a brick. Download it from the HTC Support website. Here is a link... http://www.america.htc.com/support/m...downloads.html
Try this, reboot your computer without the 6800 connected. Hard reset on your phone. It will say its loading a ROM up but it ain't. It should boot into bootloader, then soft reset. Once computer is loaded up, disable your activesync USB connection on PC. Once done, connect your 6800 and it should pop up as Qualcom something a rather USB connection. Once that happens, double click the RUU .exe for the ROM you downloaded from HTC. Follow the on screen instructions. Don't worry about the activesync connection. I know this is a Sprint ROM, but a Verizon user on another post I found said he used it just to get his 6800 working again, and then flashed a Verizon ROM. Good luck man, it took me over a week of trials and errors, before I got it! I mean long ass hours of nothing and nothing..... |

The memory card method works like a charm to, did you use a Card Reader? How did you copy the file to the card? Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop? For me the drag and drop method worked. Make sure when your done, you actually click on the little button on the bottom right to stop your USB Flash Drive / Memory Stick connection before disconnecting.... oh yea i'm an XP user...

Use a stock sprint rom, not just any rom you found on the ftp. The Stock Sprint rom will include SPl, OS, and Radio files that will fix your problem.
Vista is not your problem, and rebooting is not either. Just grab a stock rom and go from there. |
