Definitely sounds like a bad flash to me or something you've installed, perhaps.

Agreed. Hard reset, then reflash the phone and wait until it resets before unplugging it.

If that still doesn't work, try downloading the ROM again and reflash.

That's where I got it.

Edit: On your recommendation, I tried it again just in case. It installed correctly, then immediately failed with a "native exception" Exception Code 0x80000002. I get the same failure consistently whenever I try to install it on 2.16 or 2.17. However, it works fine on older ROMs.

Windows Live Search works great on 2.16 and 2.17. I suggest the problem you're having is something else.

Ironically, for the problems I am NOT having, I just discovered today that my red phone button for ending calls doesnt seem to work when Im in a call.

By the way, for those with a memory leak, see if upgrading to Windows Live 10.6.0033.0600 helps. I was leaking like a sieve until I upgraded, and now I hold steady when idle.
