after installing 2.17 this morning, I've had no shell errors and as others have reported, no problems with bt issues [yet - haven't left the house today so haven't traveled into and out of evdo coverage areas]; all my third party apps have installed and work as advertised, including new google maps v 2.0 which i'm really digging!!

I installed the new rom and have had no real issues. I have noticed however that the volume is slightly lower. It is deffinetely more responsive.

First issues this morning, three phone calls in a row the other party could hear me clearly, but they sounded like a sock was shoved in their mouth mixed with static. I'm using the Jabra 8010. I had to call them back in order to hear them correctly. After a reboot, everything worked fine again. I'm still having to reboot the phone everytime I want to use my GPS puck and/or turn off my headset. Odd thing, I received a call during a GPS session with Telenav today and after the call, Telenav picked right up. Now why will it reconnect correctly after the call is disconnected, but if I take a call first, the puck is never initalized? Anyone having this type of problem? The only benefit I'm finding over the 2.09 release is improved battery life. They may have resolved some bluetooth issues, but many still exist. Can't have it all I guess.

Hmm anyone apply all or most of the registry tweaks & .cab tweaks with this ROM?

Let me know if all is well, I plan on doing this.

Thumbs up 22 Hours and NO Issues!!!

Loaded this rom at 10 PM last night and I am not having any issues. I let the customizations load after install. Bluetooth is working excellent. For the first time since I have had this phone my fiance didnt complain about my BT quality. I use the Plantronics 510. Volume seems to be about the same as always, a little low but usable. Phone seems snappier. Still the usual issue with VC (have to disable confirmation to make it work). I dont want to jinx myself but this is the first time my phone has run this long without an issue.

LOL I'm surprised you ever had an issue or lack of volume.

I never in my life thought anyone would every experience poor BT performance, wearing that hulk even with the Mogul's previous roms. j/k

Killing the 510's performance, that is saying alot. Good thing it works, hopefully my 855 will fair the same.

i was hesitant with installing this rom since my device was functioning great overall, except memory leak and quick battery. but after reading a few posts that said it made the device faster and better battery i went ahead and installed. its a lot quicker. i installed all the apps and tweaks i previously as well. the only problem is sprint tv stopped working. but, i am glad i installed.
