Bluetooth disconnects during calls in 2.09 and 2.16 using three different headsets for me. Therefore, useless.

One thing to keep in mind and clarify is whether the issues are with A2DP streaming to stereo headphones or using a standard BT headset for calls. There is a difference here as A2DP seems to work fine. I dont have a stereo headset to test with so I cannot guarantee this. However, the big issues as I see them are the fact that the normal BT headset disconnects and wont reconnect, has static/choppy sound, etc.
So, when we discuss issues of this nature, please be as desctiptive as possible. Just stating that BT sucks is not very helpful to anyone. BTW, bluetooth sucks

I think Sprint put a stop to the Touch exchanges for this problem. I bought mine in July and also was refused a swap, I tried Total Equipment Protection route and all they can do is give me the same model. I also have Extended Warranty with Radio Shack, but they want to take my phone for 5 days or more and try to repair it, but did say that if they can't repair it that they would replace it with a comparable model.
The Bluetooth flaw is such a inconsistent, random problem, that any repair center is not going to find anthing wrong. -Polen Last edited by Polen; 11-07-2007 at 01:46 PM. |

Here's an interesting tidbit of info:
A couple of guys are posting on xda developers that we are going to see the rev a update prior to the end of November. They are stating their reps on that information. One said that he "heard" it and the other made the call to his contact and verified it. They are pretty strong and confident about it, too. Let's hope it's true! From the buzz I'm hearing with my Sprint contacts, it could, very well, be true. No one is committing to the information, not even me, regardless of what I've heard! matt
