Anyone have a name and number of the VP in charge of the department that selected and "tested" the 6800? Home address would be fine too - I think an hourly deposit of flaming poo might get his attention as obviously all our posts, calls, e-mails seem to be getting filtered before reaching his notice.

Scott - nice e-mail. I'd also like to thank the original poster for giving us hope that some info is getting to top execs and that they are aware of the issue. I had resigned myself to the fact that anyone who doesn't speak tagalog as their first language has even heard of the issue.

Thanks, I do what I can. The only way to get anything corrected is to be business like in nature. Let them know that the core people who have this phone are professionals.

You bought a phone. you had 30 days to try it and return it. It didn't meet your expectations.

How is this Sprints problem and not yours?

Seriously, help me, as a Sprint tech, understand how you not liking your phone is sprints fault.

btw: typed on my mogul that's works reaaly well. swapped once for bad bluetooth, but a good pda otherwise.

Are you serious?? And your a Sprint Tech?
Do you not see the 40,000+ hits on BT issues alone?
The memory leak issues like on 99.99999% on all Moguls?

Help me understand where I missed the *might work asteriks on the Mogul advertisement before I dropped down 550.00 bones.

Yes, I believe some people are leeching because they want the "new" thing but I personally never agreed to BETA test a phone for 500+.

I love my Mogul!

But every GSM HTC phone has been flawless in comparison... I just like the cheaper 3G data of Sprint, so its worth the setbacks.

But make no mistake - just because you use your Mogul regularly doesn't mean it works perfectly. I use mine every day despite its problems.

The potential for a perfect device is there... check your PM, thesian.

Well, I don't know about that. The T-Mobile MDA was ok but it was sooooo sloooooow. I had an Orange E-200 phone, too, and that was very nice but the little joystick thing needed replaced every 4 or 5 months. It cost like $120 to replace that $5 part so that happened once. The Blue Angel phone I had before that was big, heavy and bulky and the keyboard blew but boy was it fast. The short of it is that, if you ask me, ALL HTC devices have some kind of major flaw or another. The Mogul is no exception. The only phone I have that comes close to flawless is a Treo 700wx which I'm using now, having abandoned the Mogul until the promised update. It's just too slow and memory constrained compared to the 700wx and I figure if I'm going to use WM5, I may as well use it on a phone that rocks.

Not to rain on the parade, but seriously... How do we even know that this CEO even responded to this email? Most CEO's & VP's have personal admins that answer their emails and only alert them to messages that require their personal attention. Their is not guaranty that this guy was even ever saw the emails. And if it really is his email, once he starts getting bombed with emails from upset customers, he reallly wont check them anymore.

Its a good start, to helping slove this problems. Like I said before post more petitions to Sprint, maybe send the same letters to the BBC. I really dont know how to get this problem fixed. The thing is...this is not the first time Sprint has had issues with devices and stopped supporting them and brought out their replacements. Hopefully that wont happen this time, but is there a way to increase the RAM without having to install a new chipset?
