Re: Transparent Curtains
If you don't mind I have another more general question. I can see that when you apply a .jpg as wallpaper, Windows (Touchflo?) resizes it so that it doesn't extend into the curtain areas at the top and bottom of the screen. Is that the reason that we have to use a program like HDWalls? Is there no other way to get full screen wallpapers? I'm very new to this and just copying others instructions for doing things leaves me wanting more. I'd really like to know how this all works.
Anyone know of a Winmo registry tutorial or some such thing? |

HD walls is so the pictures we chose for our wallpaper come in clear. If u put them on your card and pick it as a wallpaper they are fuzzy. Once you use HDWalls they look crystal clear like the ones that came with our phones. Plus HDWalls does all this other stuff these guys are doing(curtians, ect)....

Re: Transparent Curtains
Yup the whole thing. Once you add your next wallpaper or the same one again. a different string will come back. In that string there was a number (when you started). Once you do what your doing, it adds a long line that you have above (\My Documents\My Wallpapers\wallpaper_003.png.)
But that "Data Value" is supposed to be blank(once you delete it)....good luck.... again, when you add your next wallpaper you will notice that box filled out again. The only reason I know this is because i was doing something with my wallpaper and noticed my Data Value had the similar thing you have |

One last question ()... When I do finally make my own wallpaper, do I have to uninstall the Hubble .cab first or just run mine and it will replace the other? Thank you so much for all of your help. Maybe one day I'll be able to answer questions too. |

Re: Transparent Curtains
Yes, they say to uninstall the old wallpaper first. I think its a safety thing. But i know i read somewhere "to unistall the wallpaper being replaced first". Even if this isn't true it won't hurt to do it.
And thats your top curtain in the way. FWaits does say how to get rid of that in his post...(once you make your own) P.S. I never answer stuff. I'm always the one asking questions. The stuff your asking I just remember reading somewhere. You ten times ahead of me. thanks |
