Well... I tried to change the lock screen again. I took it step by step, things that worked for icon changes. I used CFC Gui editor and remade the manila using the new screen. I checked the windows directory and indeed the file was changed (todays date). CFC reports the change... I'm looking at the new picture. The images folder has the new picture. The only place the new picture doesn't show up is on the lock screen!

I have to deduce that the manila I'm changing is NOT controlling the lock screen... but neither do I see it anywhere else.

If anyone knows what manila holds the lock screen, or if it is just not in a manila at all, please let me know... thanks.

Yes... but I'm trying to use a background of my own making... oh jeez, are you gonna tell me that I can just set that using a phone option?

I saw the lock screen background in a manila file and just assumed it would be the same technique... am I that dumb?... lol

if im not mistaken if you open up the "pictures and videos" program from the start menu , you can get an option to set the picture of choice as the Today Background and that is the same as the lock screen background picture.

go into today settings and youll see use this picture as the backround check that then browse find pic click the right hand corner your set

Hey Max, sorry to bother you again but I have a question (what else is new) and you seem to be the only one foolish enough to keep answering me (lol).

Is there any way to temporarily disable the dialer on my Imagio? While I'm fooling with icons and testing with button presses, I keep calling people unintentionally. I'm looking for something simple. Thanks again for all your help... Jo

You could try going into Comm Manager and turning your Phone to Off or putting Airplane Mode to On.
