Ok, I haven't followed that thread. Still trying to catch up on everything I've missed so far. From what little I did read though, it seems that there are "compromises" running that. Some things don't work exactly the way they should? Maybe I'm thinking of another thread.

Right now I'm trying to get my new wallpaper into HDWalls and not having any luck.... and I've already done that once before and it worked... jeez!

Well I finally got HDWalls to work (again!... gotta write the steps down this time).

This is my home screen now and I can't imagine changing it again. These are my children and grandbabies. I used an old version of Paint Shop Pro to work up the collage and I used the original lock screen background (with a slight color change) for the background. Having a darker background let's the text show up better too.

Now to change the actual lock screen to match the background color...

Ha... Better not let my sons hear you say that. They are "major" Steelers fans, go to Pittsburgh to watch games and everything. My oldest was at the last super bowl they won!

Well... I tried to change the lock screen again. I took it step by step, things that worked for icon changes. I used CFC Gui editor and remade the manila using the new screen. I checked the windows directory and indeed the file was changed (todays date). CFC reports the change... I'm looking at the new picture. The images folder has the new picture. The only place the new picture doesn't show up is on the lock screen!

I have to deduce that the manila I'm changing is NOT controlling the lock screen... but neither do I see it anywhere else.

If anyone knows what manila holds the lock screen, or if it is just not in a manila at all, please let me know... thanks.
