That's correct, it is just a program. I do believe you will encounter problems if you try to uninstall it. Just a heads up there is a new version (megapinky fix), it only has three cabs to install now! Look HERE and follow instructions on first post.

do you have to do a hard reset get everything back to start and then install the three cabs? All so the problems you encounter if you try to uninstall are the delt with when you hard reset?

Edit 1 : keep in mind that that is a Omnia Forum so those mods are wqvga instead of wvga. But if it is possble there then those whom have the time and skill available might port it to wvga.

Edit 2 : Further down that thread there is mention on what it may take to make it wvga compatible.
