Weird. I am using MyCleanImagio 1.9 and it shows VZ Navigation. Maybe because I run the VZW version of the ROM?

I am using MyCleanImagio 1.9 Custom Build Verizon Light and everything works perfectly. Turn by turn alerts you just after you turn then before your next turn at 2 miles, 1000 ft, and at the turn. Wish I could turn some of that off but didn't see any settings for it. I was never notified with bing to perform an upgrade. I had to go to m.bing.com and d/l the cab. The d/l link would only show up using IE. No link using Opera.

I just installed on my Verizon Touch Pro 2 (Stock WM 6.5 ROM)and Turn by Turn voice works fine!! Re-Directs with wrong turns.

Confirmed Navigation working in NRG's latest Energy Imagio ROM. (May 9, CHT) Very nice, loving it so far. If they add the gas prices back in, it will rock even more.

OK, easy workaround for VERIZON Gimping...

search registry for "vz navigator" remove or rename the entry or entries.

now uninstall and reinstall the new bing.

now "navigate" button appears not "vz navigator".

stupid microsoft for pandering to Verizon but easy workaround on stock VZW ROMs

That's nice to know...But I have VZ Nav installed (but not active right now) on my Touch Pro 2...The new Bing Installed and is running fine. Wonder if the block is device specific?

I installed the new Bing on a stock TP2 on Verizon as well and it works fine with no mods whatsoever. Do not have a stock Imagio on hand to test it on.

Don't know why some of you are having issues. I did the update, on a Verizon Imagio, I get full features of the new Bing. Navigation and everything. Works great. I AM running Drellisdee's ROM...but I really can't imagine why that would make a difference. Good Luck!

Works fine once I DL'ed it with PIE. The "update" had the issue though.
