Steps for Sense 2.5 Installation:
1. Install .net 3.5
2. Install SDKCerts
3. Disable/Uncheck: "Settings\System\Power\Turn off device if not used for", On battery power: if you do not have your phone plugged in or On external power: if you do have your phone plugged in.
6. Disable TF3D 2.0
7. Soft Reset
8. Install New CAB
10. Soft Reset

Note: I disable the HTC sense, after fist boot enable in settings home

Figured out that if you have a large amount of messages saved this can cause a good amount Sense 2.5 lockup, I had over 4000 text messages backed up that seem to cause lags in system, I exported and then deleted all but the one from 1-1-2010 (Took over a hour to delete) and I haven't experience a issue so far.

I was just about to post that same thing. I accidentally deleted that because I thought those days were over. Do you have a copy of it lying around maxtcee?

Is this version of 2.5 working better I installed the updated 2-3 version that was up and it was very buggy and was rebooting about every 15 min. how is this one working and is garmen working with this one.

Hey, heads up, the SMS appears to be working fine, but MMS server settings point to Sprint as default. I'm going to try configuring it based on this thread on post 1:

I'll post back with my results. Don't apply the MMS fix update just yet, there's still hope that we can continue using the HTC messaging client for MMS and whatnot.

Update: The server edits work fine, just make sure you set Verizon to the default. It really seems to like Sprint for some reason. The only downside right now is that I cannot send MMS. I can receive though, which for me is more important since I don't send many. I'll continue working on this. I haven't tried the Manila 2.5 MMS Fix (Valkyrie) and I don't know if I want to since I have mine working the way I want, so any volunteers, please try it and let us know how it works.
